The Center for Translational and Policy Research of Chronic Diseases hosts an annual symposium to bring together campus faculty, staff and students to discuss aspect of chronic disease in relation to health and policy impacts. Panelists comprised of campus researchers and external colleagues moderate and present on each year’s annual theme.
The 2017 Fifth Annual Research Symposium has been titled, “Reforming Medicaid.” This event is co-sponsored by CHAS and will feature CHAS Fellow Rena Conti, PhD as a primary speaker, along with Incoming Dean at the Harris School of Public Policy Katherine Baicker, PhD and Medical Director William Golden, MD, MACP from Arkansas Medicaid.
